We are currently seeking an experienced OB/GYN Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. 

Position Summary: 
The Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end billing process in the healthcare organization. This includes charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and patient billing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of OB/GYN billing experience, a strong working knowledge of Nevada payers, and demonstrated success in ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement. A certified coder (CPC or equivalent) is helpful but not required, and experience with AthenaOne electronic health records (EHR) is preferred. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Accurately enter and submit electronic and paper claims for OB/GYN services. 
  • Review, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims; process appeals as needed. 
  • Post insurance and patient payments and reconcile accounts daily. 
  • Work with payers to ensure timely payment and compliance. 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. 
  • Collaborate with providers, coders, and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation and coding. 
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 3 years of OB/GYN medical billing experience required 
  • Strong knowledge of all Nevada payers and state-specific billing policies 
  • Experience with AthenaOne electronic health records (EHR) preferred 
  • Proficiency with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding for women’s health 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
