Position: Full-Time
Location: Las Vegas – Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Biller to join our OB-GYN Revenue Cycle Team. This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of remote work and on-site responsibilities. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in claim management, accounts receivable follow-up, and appeals, along with deep knowledge of Nevada and Arizona payers.
Key Responsibilities
Claim Management & Accounts Receivable
• Manage the full lifecycle of claims-from submission to posting and payment resolution.
• Conduct comprehensive AR follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Work denials, rejections, and underpayments efficiently and accurately.
• Identify payer trends and escalate recurring issues to Revenue Cycle leadership.
• Maintain organized documentation, claim logs, and follow-up reports.
Appeals & Payer Communication
• Prepare and submit detailed appeals for denied or improperly processed claims.
• Communicate professionally with payer representatives to resolve complex issues.
• Ensure all appeals comply with payer-specific policies and include all required documentation.
Billing Support
• Review charges and clinical documentation for completeness prior to submission.
• Collaborate with patient registration, providers, and clinical staff to resolve billing-related discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer policies-especially Nevada Medicaid, Arizona Medicaid (AHCCCS), and regional commercial plans.
Qualifications
• OB-GYN billing experience required (maternity, women's health, global billing, L&D services, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Nevada and Arizona payers, including Medicaid programs (e.g., Nevada Medicaid, AHCCCS).
• Demonstrated expertise in:
- Claim management
- Accounts receivable follow-up
- Denial resolution
- Appeals and reconsiderations
• Experience with AthenaOne EMR is helpful but not required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
